Downward Facing Dog

One of our favorite Yoga poses for beginners is the downward facing dog.  You have to start on your hands and knees. Spread your hands and push your butt upwards to the ceiling. Your head should be between your arms and facing your knees. Your back should be completely flat. Stay in this pose for at least a good five minutes to get ultimate results!

Mountain Pose

This is perhaps the easiest yoga pose. It may seem like you’re just standing, but the mountain pose truly grounds you. Stand with all of your toes and heels apart from each other. Relax your shoulders. Inhale and put your arms over your head. Keep them there for at least 5 to 10 breaths. Take long, slow deep breathes and you’ll instantly feel relaxed.

Plank

This may look easy, but trust us, it’s not. Planking requires great balance and even greater concentration, but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible. This is a great pose for beginners to take control of their own body. Tuck your toes under the mat and lift your legs up. The pressure of your whole body is on your hands and toes. Your body is supposed to be one straight line. Take at least 5 to 10 breaths.

Triangle

This is one of our favorite poses for beginners since it improves your posture. Stand with your feet wide apart and stretch your arms upwards in a 90-degree angle. Tree

Tree is not only easy, but it also helps you learn how to control and balance your body. Yoga is all about getting familiar with your body, and tree will help you do just that. Place your right foot on your inner left thigh for a while. Take approximately 5 to 10 breaths. Change positions and do the same pose again.
