This week I’ve been thinking about how we overcome life’s obstacles. We know that so much of our suffering is caused by “the craving mind.”
How much of our energy is spent on chasing after what we don’t have?
How often are we pushing away or resisting something we do have?
The ancient yogis believed that all suffering would end if we could finally still that craving mind; they considered this a bliss state.
This is why we meditate in our yoga practices. We can achieve brief moments of stillness and acceptance and get a tiny taste of bliss.
It’s my hope that you are able to use what you learn in our studio to not only become physically healthier, but to experience the benefits of yoga as a mental practice as well.
